[Art-mfastudio] New system for scheduling Second- and Third-Year MFA Formal Reviews

Hi all,

Based on feedback from grads, we will be using a new system for scheduling the Second- and Third-Year Formal Reviews. This should afford more flexibility for both students and faculty and will hopefully mean that more reviews will be attended by the full SR+E committee.

Four weeks before the review deadline, I will announce to the appropriate students and faculty that it is time to schedule a review.

The student being reviewed will be responsible for communicating with their committee and finding a date and time that works best for everyone.

Faculty will have three days after the review occurs to submit the review evaluation form.

I will collect the submitted review forms every Friday during the four-week review period and forward them to the students and their chairs.

I think this new system will solve several problems and address complaints that I have heard from grads. We will be using this system for the upcoming Second-Year Formal Review. Please send me your feedback.
