It was good to see you all yesterday for the first day of orientation. I have followed up on a couple things that were mentioned, so I wanted to send a quick update:

I checked on the CAB security guard's schedule and Nick says they should be there 4:30pm - 1am, 7days a week. He is making a sign to post near the guard's desk.

 (Note that it is not a certificate program as I said, but can be applied to the Graduate School's teaching certificate program - either way, participating in this program will be worth the effort if you plan to teach after FSU) Note that there is an information session on Thursday, August 28th, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., via Zoom OR Friday, August 29th, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. via Zoom. If you're in Supervised Teaching, please register for one of them if you can.

Finally, when you all organize your first LGA meeting, please let me know so I can attend the start of the meeting to (1) help facilitate the voting of new officers and (2) to find out who is interested in helping to curate work to be shown during the 9/5 Dean's Advisory Council meeting at CAB.
