[Art-mfastudio] Student funding opportunity from FSU's Native American and Indigenous Studies Center

Hi All,

FSU's Native American and Indigenous Studies Center is offering funding for student research, travel, and creative work that is "focused on creating and/or developing knowledge with Native and Indigenous partners and/or to support travel related to disseminating knowledge at conferences, meetings, and/or workshops." They also state that, "creative works and activities associated with Indigenous nations are also encouraged."

Because I've been asked this in the past, please understand that indigeneity is a broad, international category, referring to the identity of a person or group of people who are descendants of a region's original inhabitants. It also extends to those diasporic communities who've been displaced from their homelands/customs often due to colonialism and its legacies.

If any of your current projects align with what's asked for above, I encourage you to apply for funding! Up to $1500 is available for grads and $750 for undergrads.
