Elliott is the Executive Director and Curator at Alabama Contemporary in Mobile, AL and since 2009, has curated exhibitions at venues that range from grass roots initiatives to established institutions. As a maker, Elliott engages a range of media and approaches such as mixed media, installation, performance and documentation.

For her presentation at FSU, Elliott with give a brief 15-20 minute presentation on her curation and art practice, which will be followed by a facilitated Q&A. For the Q&A, we invite you to email us any questions you have for Elliott. Email these to me at mkk22f at fsu.edu. The VA committee will select a number of questions from those that we receive in advance from students and there will as well be some time allotted to take questions from the audience. This approach enables us to ensure a range of inquiries are addressed in the Q&A.
