Hi all,

In an effort to try to ensure that your materials are not being unexpectedly removed from the shops and shared spaces, we are implementing a policy that has worked in the FAB sculpture area: If the CAB Studio Manager sees something that should be moved/removed, they will put a tag on it with the current date. If the item isn't removed within a week, the Studio Manager will move it.

To avoid trouble, always label the things you are working with in the shared spaces with your name and the date by which it will be moved out.

Hopefully this system will resolve issues but please email me if you have issues or ideas about how to make things work better.

Also, please remember to clean up after yourself immediately after using any of the shared spaces: the lounge, the woodshop, metal shop, CAB classroom, computer lab, etc. Everyone needs to have equal access to these spaces.
