Large Format Printing Service (Located in FAB 335):
The LFPS is currently online! Information about LFPS and how to setup your files is available on the Art Labs website and will be updated as needed (https://labs.art.fsu.edu/large-format-printing/)

Please note:



  *   Social distancing is required
  *   Masks are to be expected.

  *   Users must schedule an appointment 72 hours in advance. Appointments are made in 1-hour blocks. You may book multiple appointment slots if you need more time; make sure you book enough time or you may be asked to leave and reschedule before you have finished printing.
  *   If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically canceled and counted as a no-show. If you fail to show for an appointment more than twice in a semester, you will lose access to the LFPS for the semester.
  *   Come with your files prepared or you will be asked to leave and reschedule for when you are prepared.
  *   Please do not wait last minute to schedule appointments for time-sensitive work as staff may have to cancel appointments due to either technology issues, health issues, etc.

Monday: 10:30am-12:40pm; 2:15pm-5pm
Tuesday: 10:30am-12:40pm; 2:15pm-5pm

Lightbox (Located in CAB; Room 1421):
Lightbox is the department's lighting studio.  Reservations for use of this space are by appointment only. You must have attended a demo to use Lightbox. Contact Jabari Townsend to inquire about a Lightbox Demo. Information about Lightbox can be found on the Art Labs website (https://labs.art.fsu.edu/photography/lightbox/)

Please note:



  *   Masks are expected
  *   Users must schedule an appointment 72 hours in advance. Appointments are made in 2-hour blocks.
  *   Users must have taken a Lightbox demo before they are allowed to make a reservation
  *   If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it will be automatically canceled and counted as a no-show. If you fail to show for an appointment more than twice in a semester, you will lose access to the LightBox for the semester.

 Four demos are coming up:
-January 21st at 12pm
-January 21st at 1:40pm
-January 28th at 12pm
-January 28th at 1:40pm

Only six people will be allowed to attend each Demo session. Masks are expected. You must RSVP. Contact Jabari to RSVP or for any questions.

Digital Photography Lab (FAB 320B):
The digital photography lab will be available to students currently enrolled in the Beginning and Advanced Digital Photography course and MFA's. Information about FAB 320B can be found on the Art Labs website (https://labs.art.fsu.edu/photography/digital-photography-fab310/)

Please note:



  *   Only 6 students will be allowed access at a time during Open Lab Hours. No guests allowed.
  *   Users must schedule an appointment to use 320B. Appointments must be scheduled 24 hours ahead of the time you are trying to work. You can schedule your appointment by using the Art Labs Calendar (https://labs.art.fsu.edu/calendar/). Click the drop-down button and select "Digital Photo Lab (FAB320B)". The username to sign-up for 320B Lab time is digmedia and the password is equipment!. Please do not edit or delete other student's appointments. You will lose access privileges if this happens, and your professor will be notified.  6 printers will be available for use. 4 Glossy/Luster Printers and 2 Matte Printers.
  *   Masks are expected.
  *   Users must adhere to social distancing rules. You will receive one warning if not maintaining social distance rules. You will be asked to leave the lab if there are continuous social distance violations.
  *   Students must sanitize after themselves - when they enter and before they leave. Doorknobs, tables, handles, equipment must be wiped down before and after use. Lab Monitors will wipe down Computer station (mouse and keyboard). Computer Station(s) must be kept clean and orderly to ensure safety.

Darkroom (FAB 335):

The Darkroom is the department's analog film and print processing area. The Darkroom is available to students enrolled in a Film Photography class and MFAs (with permission from Jabari and/or Area Head).  Information about the Darkroom can be found on the Art Labs website (https://labs.art.fsu.edu/photography/darkroom/).

Please note:



  *   Only 7 students will be allowed in the Print Processing room at a time during Open Lab Hours.
  *   Only 3 students will be allowed in the Film Processing room at a time during Open Lab Hours.
  *   Masks are expected.
  *   Must adhere to social distancing rules.
