[Art-mfastudio] a quick follow up to feedback from you all at the faculty meeting

Hi there,
Thank you for communicating with Nik and Iris to give feedback at the faculty meeting.   I have to say though that most of these items could be fixed or addressed quicker with an email to me and Tenee’.  Or come see me in the office.  Here is a quick follow up to some of the items.


  *   After Tenee’ and April spent considerable time trying to fix the current sewing machine, yesterday Tenee’ and I discussed the situation and decided to look into fixing the current one but also buy a new one.  I understand that you want one with a serger.  Lilian has approved this purchase so Tenee’ will get that ordered very soon.
  *   some of you apparently still do not have access to the calendar.  I can fix that soooo quickly if you send me your gmail or other email that can be used to access google docs.  If the issue is not about the email address but you are having another issue, please come see me with your computer or phone and we can problem solve.
  *   I heard for the first time that some things were stolen over the break.  Please share with me what is missing, when you noticed it missing and where it was.
  *   There was a request to prioritize 3rd years in the large new install spaces.  Can I get a bit  more clarification on that request?
  *   FYI - faculty sensitivity training is taking place on 2/11.

Additionally, Lilian wanted me to send you the information about SAFER https://stayhealthy.fsu.edu/safer  I am sharing this with the faculty as well.  The SAFER team will then take on the task of contacting potentially exposed students, faculty and staff.  Note: the faculty member who had COViD did not know this.  They all know this now.

And - good news - we just got an email that the color printer that will live in Tenee’s and my office has arrived.  We should have it set up some time next week.
