Hello All!

I hope that this message finds everyone well and having had a wonderful weekend. I just wanted to reach out and spread the word about some new IND (Interior Design) course options for the Spring. These are graduate level courses - so it should be super easy to enroll!

IND 5930 section 4 - Graphic Design | 3 credit hours

(4:30-6:00pm + T/Th + WJB 1023)


This course provides graduate students with a hands-on introduction to graphic design useful for data visualization, creation of publications, and development of a personal brand for coherent and consistent communication and portfolio needs. Explorations include event promotion materials, animations, introductory video editing techniques and basic website creation. (see attached flyer)



IND 5315 - Advanced Visual Communication | 3 credit hours

(1:20-2:35pm + T/Th + WJB 1023)


In this course, students explore current media used to communicate complex research and design ideas by assessing and developing effective communication strategies. Students learn video creation and editing skills to create videos sharing their research and/or creative projects suitable for graduating portfolio inclusion.
