Hello all,

This is round two of attempting to transition leadership for LGA.

Last week we held a meeting which was attended by only a very small number of MFAs and we were unable to transition roles at that time. We need to do so as soon as possible.

To reiterate the previous e-mail, LGA is a vital organ of the MFA program, a great way to build out a resume and serves to facilitate exhibition opportunities in the Working Method Contemporary gallery. It also importantly functions as a way to build community in the program and direct funding towards needs which might not be otherwise met, it can facilitate funding for travel to conferences or exhibitions, acquire collective equipment, fund events onsite and off, etc.

We need to fill all leadership positions:

President: facilitate meetings, oversee gallery/general RSO operations and approve funding requests

Vice President: assists in presidential capacities

Secretary: oversee meeting facilitation and communication with the dept. / MFAs at large

Treasurer: oversee financial operations

Social Media: maintain web presence and promote events/hype MFA works
