My hope is that this email finds everyone having a wonderful and relaxing weekend before we jump into Orientation Week. You are all receiving this email because the Potluck Lunch Sign-Up Sheet needs some... well help. I really want us to still have a potluck social event on Monday - so I am hoping by opening it up to everyone that we can make this happen! So why are we even having a potluck? Well, this is a welcome event that I experienced when I first came to the program, it was the event that really sealed the 'welcome' for me. The potluck was prompted with the task to 'bring your favorite recipe' - so obviously a lot of unique family recipes came out to shine...**radiating beam of light**...in all of their glory. I mean, what better way to bond then over food? Guys, it really does bring people together!!! :) So please fill out the Potluck Lunch google sign-up sheet with the yummiest dish of your choosing (or of your cooking capabilities). :P Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Eab_QacUVZ03N_X-nPVaepMsnrIGmFGzcT7rKCIGb80/edit?usp=sharing [https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/vPE4rmpPn_FAakk_j89HNh1RAFtJg57kWg3x3H5YaOCLMDoMJq_icwI_X-EDMZZMglKE3g=w1200-h630-p] Orientation | Potluck Sign-Up Sheet1 3rd YEARS | 2020 Candidates NAME,NUMBER,EMAIL,POTLUCK DISH Toni Ardizzone,512-784-6895,tra17 at my.fsu.edu Erwin (Skip) Brea,646-258-6302,eb17d at my.fsu.edu Caroline Ennis,850-982-9752,cae17 at my.fsu.edu James (Camden) Goddard,706-835-8860,jcg17c at my.fsu.edu,Drinks and Cups Channing Gray,407-71... docs.google.com As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this event and I will be happy to answer them! I hope that this message finds you all doing well and enjoying your first week of classes! I just wanted to reach out in regards to the studio furniture that has been relocated into the back hallway of CAB. Please feel free to take any of this furniture for your studio needs, if the furniture is not taken then it will go to the FSU Surplus where it may never be seen again... ?**eerie music playing in the distance** ? If you are looking for other studio furniture options, you are more than welcome to check out the surplus. As anyone associated with the university can go to the surplus and get items. You just need the department number for art (which is 196), building number for CAB (which is 4500), and your studio number "1510C" or whatever number your studio is officially. The item would then be brought to the space. The important thing to note here is this item doesn't become your property - it becomes owned by the department of art and needs to remain in the building, ideally in the room that was designated on the request. [cid:edf14586-353b-42f9-bb12-85eb7c9d1576] Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this process and I will be happy to help. Happy studio furniture shopping!!!
