Venvi is a contemporary commercial gallery presenting regional and national artists. The gallery previously partnered with FSU Art on the 2025 student exhibition Locust Technician, providing students with professional experience in exhibition presentation, pricing, sales, installation, and gallery relationships. Curators Professor Carrie Ann Baade, Farrah Phillips and Eliana Cohn In partnership with COCA. See the 2025 exhibition: Locust Technician at Venvi Art Gallery Eligibility and Requirements: Open to FSU Studio Art undergraduate and graduate students. At least 12 artists will be selected. All selected work must be professionally presented, ready to install, and available for the full duration of the exhibition. Sales and Artwork Requirements. All exhibited work must be available for purchase. Sales are divided 50% to the artist and 50% to Venvi Art Gallery. Work submitted with the application must remain available for the exhibition if selected. Selected artists may also submit additional or new work for curatorial consideration. They can either scan the barcode on the poster or they can even tap their phone to the poster to open the sign-in page (a suggestion from my student who thought it was too much work to open the camera on her phone) ? The signin form just has two quick questions, so it shouldn't be too onerous for students and it will help us understand who uses the lab and when.
