I did see something that could be updated if you are ablet to:

For the two Gerontology Certificates at University of Akron (in Ohio), Harvey Sterns has retired and I am now the Director of those two certificate programs - undergraduate certificate in Gerontology and graduate certificate in Gerontology.

Gentle nudging from a few directors prompted Anna to make some adjustments.  She has done a great job!

The following are now included.

1 - dual PhD programs

2 - research institutes

Geriatric programs - medicine, nursing, public health, social work, etc....will be added during the upcoming AY.  This will be V3.0.

Thanks to Callie for adding me to your distribution list.  Much appreciated.

The department of gerontology at the University of Nebraska Omaha (and Lincoln) has created a database of US gerontology programs.  This is an outgrowth of a project Rona Karasik and I were involved in with the S&G handbook.  We couldn't find one source with a correct count of programs. Hopefully, this gets at this detail.

Thanks to Anna Larsen - our new UNL research assistant, the database has been updated with new information (AGEC, POM and Community Colleges) along with some reordering of states.

Contact information is drawn from your website.  If the website is incomplete, please note this is what we are using for this project.  If you can get it corrected - that would be great.  We realize resources may be limited and understand if it is not feasible to get your website updated at the present time.  We will look to you for updates when the opportunity presents itself.
