Hi, first time responding... Our Center website and brochures have a general statement about the depth and breadth of our profession. We include some examples of specific disorders and ages. We do not have any specific policies regarding what type of cases
we accept but instead allow the supervisors of the case to determine the appropriateness of the case for educational purposes. As long as we are following ASHA guidelines of Scope of Practice we feel it's up to the individual supervisor to examine their own
expertise. We have taken phone calls for services like "dyslexia diagnosing", "autism diagnosing", etc and we tell these individuals on the phone that we do not offer those services at this time. If we can we try to refer to other professionals as needed.
But no official written policy. <br>
