All applicants must have a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP), a current license from the South Carolina Labor Licensing and Regulatory Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Some clinical supervision experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include the clinical education and training of graduate students in the Montgomery Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, academic teaching, and service. Preferable areas of interest include neurogenic disorders across the lifespan, voice, and augmentative communication but other areas will be considered for highly qualified applicants.
