Below is the email sent by CAPCSD today. We will all miss Lisa greatly. I wondered whether SEUCE would like to make a donation to the scholarship being established in Lisa's name. Best, Debra __________________ Dear CAPCSD Members, It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Dr. Lisa Scott passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 24, 2019. Lisa was an extremely valued and dedicated member of our CAPCSD Board of Directors for several years playing pivotal roles as President-Elect, President, Past-President, Secretary and most recently Vice President for Professional Development. Lisa worked tirelessly serving the profession of Speech-Language Pathology for over 25 years, and her exceptional contributions were recognized with numerous teaching and mentoring awards as a professor at Florida State University. Lisa?s obituary can be found here at this link. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 17th, 1:00 p.m., at The Gathering (above Madison Social), [webextlink%3A//705%20S%20Woodward%20Ave.,%20#201,%20Tallahassee,%20FL]705 S Woodward Ave., #201, Tallahassee, FL. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been set up in Lisa?s honor with Florida State University. Could you all please let me know what are your fees for clinic at your university? If you have a sliding fee scale can you let me know how do you determine the costs. I know previously someone asked about doing a registration fee but having a free clinic, however, I didn't see a response to the group.
