We typically staff for these appointments 3 to 7 days ahead of the session, depending on the individual supervisor. 1. Time student has to turn in a rough draft of a diagnostic report after an evaluation is completed. The students are required to turn in the first draft of report 2 days after the appointment. The final draft is due one day after edited copy is returned by the supervisor. 1. Preparation time between a student receiving a clinical assignment and the start of the first intervention session. It has some good features, but does require that at least two people (clinic manager and one clinical faculty) serve as superusers. They each have invested a good bit of time (we're analyzing that time) and we have also connected with the folks at Medicat to see if there are adjustments they can be addressing rather than the superuser option. Cost was a factor for us (clost could be split between us and a few other departments/programs at our university) and features (i.e., can go back and forth between students and supervisors, also a client portal to manage intakes, reminders, etc...). We were wanting to go with ClinicNote, because it had some really nice features (minus the portal and a few other features that we're getting with Medicat) and at a reasonable cost. You can also self-report the CEUs if done by a different provider (e.g., in Texas, the CEUs are TSHA) Re: standards. Those graduating in May 2019 MUST HAVE MADE APPLICATION FOR THEIR CCC by December 31, 2019 to remain on the old standards. So even a December 2019 graduate could be on the old standards as long as his/her application has been received by December 31, 2019. You can also self-report the CEUs if done by a different provider (e.g., in Texas, the CEUs are TSHA) Re: standards. Those graduating in May 2019 MUST HAVE MADE APPLICATION FOR THEIR CCC by December 31, 2019 to remain on the old standards. So even a December 2019 graduate could be on the old standards as long as his/her application has been received by December 31, 2019.
