I'm curious to see what others programs are requiring to turn paperwork around. Do you mind sharing the following? 1. Preparation time between a student receiving a diagnostic *assignment *and the evaluation. 2. Time student has to turn in a rough draft of a diagnostic report after an evaluation is completed. 3. Preparation time between a student receiving a clinical assignment and the start of the first intervention session. Thank you in advance for your assistance. -- *Maya R. However, students usually do a telephone interview and confirmation of the appointment with the client 3-5 days prior to the actual appointment time. 2) We tell students to have rough draft of DX report in one week following the appointment and final copy should be complete within two weeks. That doesn?t always happen though, depending on the difficulty of the case or the writing skills of the students. 3) I usually give students their clinical assignments within 2 weeks of the first intervention session/clinic start date. That gives them plenty of time to review the chart and meet with their supervisor. Preparation time between a student receiving a diagnostic assignment and the evaluation. One week. If a client cancels 3 or more days, another client is scheduled, only allowing 3 days 2. Time student has to turn in a rough draft of a diagnostic report after an evaluation is completed. 3 days for initial draft. We build in diagnostic report writing after the diagnostic time (1-2 hours). All diagnostic reports have to be completed and mailed two weeks from the appointment time. 3. Preparation time between a student receiving a clinical assignment and the start of the first intervention session. Generally speaking, one week. Maybe 2 weeks under certain circumstances such as the faculty member being out for a conference, etc. Thank you in advance for your assistance. -- Maya R.
