<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Dr.Martorella is an associate professor in the College of Nursing. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Montreal (Canada) and was a postdoctoral fellow at McGill University
(Canada). </span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Her program of research consists in developing and evaluating innovative non-pharmacological interventions for pain management and chronic pain prevention. Using experimental and mixed method designs,
she focuses her research on psychosocial factors of pain, the use of information technologies, and complementary and alternative therapies.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
