Her lab team studies the neural substrates underlying these processes in the healthy population as well as how they vary across individuals and break down with damage. The team uses a broad methodological toolkit including fMRI, cognitive tasks, and TMS, focusing on deep ?precision? measures to precisely-phenotype brain and behavior in individual people. Recent work in the lab has focused on individual differences in brain networks across the adult lifespan and how these are related to preservation and loss of goal-directed behavior with age. I'm just emailing to let you know that FSU's trial access for The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection is all set up, meaning all faculty, researchers and students across the university have full and unlimited access to the entire collection until September 30th, 2022. On campus access to the collection should be automatic and for remote access you will be granted full viewing rights via the HSTalks login page at: https://hstalks.com/login/?biosci (if you have already registered a personal account with your FSU email, you will also be granted full access by logging in using these credentials). Thank you again for sharing your feedback with the library to help get this organised! Of course, the more faculty/researchers who register their support for the collection, the more likely it is that the library will continue to provide access. One of the biggest challenges we face is raising awareness of the resource during a trial period. As you know, many faculty are very busy and it can be difficult to get them to engage with a new product, however I am confident that when they do, they will be very impressed with what they find! With this mind, would you be prepared to share details of the collection with your colleagues, from both within and outside your department and invite them to check out the lectures? This could be via email, or perhaps on a staff portal/shared area? You are welcome to share my contact details with others so if they have any questions, they may contact me directly. Any feedback or recommendations can be left via our website or sent to your subject librarian directly. I hope that with your help and the work being done by the library we can spread the word about this resource, and in turn can arrange for long-term access for you and your colleagues/students. At the COVID pandemic?s seeming height, social media were filled with images and stories of people adopting pets. Individuals who might not have had time for a dog or a cat before lockdown suddenly did. Needing to walk a dog also gave people a reason to leave their homes at regular intervals. For some older adults with dogs, those regular strolls around the neighborhood may have helped keep them from having increased feelings of loneliness.
