Hi Folks:

Realize that this is the end of the semester, but am hoping that many of you can come out, preferably in person to enjoy the reception food, but at least by Zoom to see Jeff Kaye's presentation on Dec. 15.

Jeff Kaye, M.D., of Oregon Health & Science University, a national expert on aging, will speak on technology and aging research at 3:30 p.m. December 15 in the Broad Auditorium of FSU's Claude Pepper Center, 636 W. Call St.

The public is invited to attend or to participate via Zoom at https://fsu.zoom.us/j/95462193118.

His talk is sponsored by FSU's Institute for Successful Longevity, by the Claude Pepper Center and by the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy.

Earlier that day, Kay will join researchers from Florida State University in a panel discussion on "Technology for Home Health Monitoring."

The panel talk, featuring Jeff Kaye, M.D., of Oregon Health & Science University, will be at 10 a.m. at the Tallahassee Senior Center, 1400 N. Monroe St., near Lake Ella.

Joining Kaye in the panel discussion will be FSU researchers:
* Neil Charness, Ph.D., Distinguished Research Professor of Psychology and director of the Institute for Successful Longevity.
* Miles Taylor, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology and Director of the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy.
* Dawn Carr, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Sociology and Director of the Claude Pepper Center.
* Walter Boot, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology and Associate Director of the Institute for Successful Longevity.

The public is invited to the panel talk as well, and the panelists will take questions from the audience.

Best, Neil
