A research group led by Martina Luchetti, Ph.D., of FSU’s College of Medicine and a Faculty Affiliate of the Institute for Successful Longevity, recently looked at loneliness and resilience among older adults in the COVID-19 era of distancing and lockdowns.

Their findings are surprising. In the Institute for Successful Longevity’s blog, Dr. Luchetti explains the work of the researchers and their study, published in American Psychologist: https://isl.fsu.edu/article/study-finds-older-americans-did-not-feel-lonelier-despite-social-distancing-recommendations.
