<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;background:white"><span style="color:#2C2A29;mso-ligatures:none">Information Technology Services will soon kick off the quarterly process for certifying employee security access roles. To ensure continued compliance
 with institutional policy and industry best practices, an update has been applied to remove unnecessary user access to personally identifiable student information.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;background:white"><u><span style="color:#2C2A29;mso-ligatures:none">If a supervisor does not certify an employee’s assigned roles, security access will be removed. This process especially impacts employees with
 access to student Social Security numbers and may interrupt business operations if not properly addressed.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;background:white"><span style="color:#2C2A29;mso-ligatures:none">Please be aware of this change and help inform supervisors in your college or department of the upcoming review and the importance of completing
 the review so employees retain their necessary security roles. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;background:white"><span style="color:#2C2A29;mso-ligatures:none">Supervisors will receive automatic reminders via email and push notifications within myFSU HR. The updated employee role certification system provides
 a one-month window for role certification every quarter, and three reminders will be sent before security access is removed. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
