<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you, I love the idea of highlighting the value of the FLA Conference to academic libraries and will put this call out to our Board.

<p class="MsoNormal">One possible initial suggestion is that we could have an academic track and have it highlighted/marketed within the program throughout the conference. I know that FLA already does highlight sessions by topic/library type, so this might
be more of a marketing effort/accessibility piece/idea to make it easier for academic library professionals to show relevance to their administrations with shrinking budgets. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We had also talked about maybe having our conference team directly support the FLA conference committee and have a rep. on the committee who could promote good communication and share ideas. If we did want to sponsor a pre-conference, maybe
we could bring a peer review process for that. And we had talked about maybe having a recurring workshop on getting published I believe.
