drop-out rate of 24.3%, and 54% of undergraduates identify as first-generation students. Homesickness, academic challenges, and mental health are just some of their challenges. Entire offices on college campuses are created to aid students in the transition
from their high school to college selves, and academic libraries should and do play a role in supporting this specific population of students. This edited book will highlight and showcase the work librarians are doing in the realm of outreach and programming
