My name is Deborah Stanfield. I am a doctoral student at Valdosta State University. I am asking for your help so that I may complete the requirements of my doctoral dissertation research in the Educational Leadership program. I am conducting a research study
on academic librarians, work-related burnout, and leadership practices. The title of my research study is “An Explanatory Sequential Mixed Methods Study of Work-Related Burnout in Academic Librarians." Your responses could provide new insights into work-related
burnout in the academic library and the impact leadership practices have on it. This could inform MLIS programs, administration, and professional development opportunities for current and future library leaders.</div>

To participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online, anonymous survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. No one, including the researcher, will be able to associate your responses with your identity. Your participation
is voluntary, and you may choose not to participate or to withdraw at any time. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this study. Your completion of the study will serve as your voluntary agreement to participate in this research and your
certification that you are 18 years of age or older.</div>
