The formation and breakup of supercontinent Pangaea is the largest tectonic event of the Phanerozoic Eon. Associated with the rifting stage of this event is the large igneous province, the Central Atlantic Magmatic Province (CAMP), with associated dikes, sills,
basalt flows, and intrusives found throughout the North Atlantic periphery. Much research has been done in quantifying the style and timing of CAMP throughout the Eastern North American Margin (ENAM), but questions remain. Using paleomagnetic data, statistical
tests will be conducted both on a pair of crosscutting dikes of the Carolinas, and across the whole of ENAM in order to test whether the same time-averaged geomagnetic field has been recorded. In addition, paleomagnetic data from younger volcanics across ENAM
will be used to test for post-rift thermal uplift and subsidence as a means to bring the apparent polar wander paths using data from western and eastern North America into concordance. As a whole, these results will contribute to our understanding of the Laurentian
response to the breakup of Pangaea as well as to global paleogeography during the Jurassic.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
