test. Registration is $2, and I think you have to tack on another $2 if you register individually using PayPal. The registration fee is to cover administration costs.</span></p>

<p style="margin:0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font:12.0px Helvetica"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The exam is offered on the Intermediate and Advanced levels. Intermediate is open to everyone who has had roughly a year of college Latin. If you have done LAT 1121,
you should try the exam. If you are close to finishing LAT 1121, why not try it? I would say that the Advanced is more for those who are in their fourth semester or beyond that.</span></p>

<p style="margin:0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;font:12.0px Helvetica"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The top five Intermediate exams will receive a $100 cash prize. The top five Advanced exams will receive $250. The next tier of ten will receive free books, and below
that many will receive certificates of commendation. Any of these prizes would be a feather in your cap and look good on your resume, whether you plan to do anything after college with your Latin or not. How many people win Latin translation awards?</span></p>
