In this lecture, he will give you the opportunity to learn more about the aesthetics of this beautiful art form by talking about its history, development, and its artistic influence in the Middle East and North Africa region. Stewart Thomas has been in love with pen and ink for most of his life. He specializes in calligraphy in the Arabic script used in Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Urdu, Dari, Balti and dozens of other languages. Many of his larger calligraphy works include elaborate border designs, illumination and watercolor illustration.
