Symposium goal
We hope this event will create a “safe-space” for individuals and groups within the FSU community (and beyond) to discuss issues surrounding diversity, inclusion, and equity. More importantly, we want attendees and participants to walk away from the event with tangible ways to incorporate diversity and inclusion in their research projects and teaching methods.
________________________________
Date and Location
The symposium will take place on Friday, September 27, 2019, 9am-5pm, FSU Turnbull Conference Center<https://m.fsu.edu/student/device/text/maps/map?filter=&feed=main_campus_map_2017&id=main_campus_map_2017%2FCenters%2FDeVoe%20L%20Moore%20Center&parentId=main_campus_map_2017%2FCenters>.

In addition to the symposium, there will be an accompanying book group based on Transforming Understandings of Diversity in Higher Education: Demography, Democracy, and Discourse.
