[FSU iSchool-msit] Potential DIS students in the Fall

I am looking for graduate students to work on my 5-year collaborative NIH project:

The Adherence Promotion with Person-centered Technology (APPT) Project: Promoting Adherence to Enhance the Early Detection and Treatment of Cognitive Decline (1R01AG064529)

This is a great opportunity for students to work on a large-scale NIH project and gain hands-on experience with machine learning and AI techniques. The students will work with a strong interdisciplinary team of experts from Psychology, Computer Science, Medicine, Information, and Sociology at FSU. Starting Fall 2020, we will work with a team of students to develop the AI-based messaging system for this project. We expect to recruit a few DIS students first. Based on performance, this could lead to paid research assistant positions later on.

Interested students should have some experiences with R or Python, and machine learning.
