Resuming classes on Monday will not be easy for many. While most I suspect will be able to complete the semester as normal, recognize that some will find it challenging. Whether they directly witnessed or were impacted by the shootings themselves, or the events
of Thursday bring up prior traumatic experiences please recognize that some may be so distressed that they will not be able to return to campus or their classes this semester. Additionally, there may be students who return to campus but struggle to be in the
classroom or to complete their coursework.</div>
