I've had quite a few conversations with faculty regarding AI (Artificial Intelligence) usage in the classroom. Unfortunately, FSU has been reticent in providing specific syllabi language, citing that there isn't one universal approach faculty and programs should
take toward the use of AI. Their advice is that individual instructors and programs come up with their own approaches regarding what's prohibited, allowable, and encouraged regarding AI.</div>

In pursuit of that, Mona Bozorgi recently shared with me the language Texas Tech has provided their instructors, which I think articulates a useful range of approaches toward AI in the classroom. It could be a good starting point as you come up with your own
language. </div>

Before passing this along to all of you, I sent this to Joshua Morgan, who is spearheading FSU's approach to AIAI (Academic Integrity + Artificial Intelligence). He says the attached Texas Tech statements are fine to share, but suggests:</div>
